Nikah is an act of worship. In Islam Nikah is an agreement and contract between husband and wife in accordance with the Qur’an and Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Mohammad Peace Be Upon Him.

The following are the requirements to get your Nikah conducted by MCNET:

1. Mutual agreement by the bride and groom
2. Presence of two Muslim witnesses
3. Valid marriage license from the local county
4. Mahr (marriage gift/dowry) to be paid by the groom to the bride either immediately (Muajjal) or deferred (Muakhkhar), or a combination of both
5. If previously married, date and certificate of divorce
6. Photo ID of bride, groom, and witnesses
7. Follow Islamic dress code and principles
8. Official city marriage license to be signed by the marriage officiant

• $250 fee to be paid to the Masjid if the bride and groom are official members of MCNET.
• $500 fee to be paid if the bride and groom are not members of MCNET
