MCNET is here to cater to the needs of our Muslim community and the surrounding communities. We offer a range of end-to-end offerings for our community members. We partner with a local Funeral Home for these services. Our services include :
- Inform the community about the loss; ask for supplication and announce Janazah (funeral prayer) timings
- Body transportation in collaboration with the local Funeral Home
- Help coordinate and assist with performing Ghusl (body wash) of the deceased in Masjid premises. Family members are welcome to assist as well
- Provide Kafan (burial shroud), unless the family brings their own Kafan
- Arrange the Salaatul Janazah (funeral prayer) at the Masjid
- Acquiring a burial plot at Oak Hill Cemetery in Johnson City
- Providing Assistance at the cemetery
- Counseling with the religious leadership
Funeral Service Fee :
- $4,000 fee to be paid to the MCNET if the deceased was an official member of MCNET. This also includes the price of burial plot, shroud, supplies and the services provided by the funeral home. This also includes two copies of the death certificates. Additional copies can be obtained at an additional cost.
- $5,000 fee to be paid to the MCNET if the deceased was not a member of MCNET. This also includes the price of burial plot, shroud, supplies and the services provided by the funeral home. This also includes two copies of the death certificates.
- Additional copies can be obtained at an additional cost.
- If you need to put the plaque at the grave then it will cost $500.
- We can also provide you with the contact info of the company that provides the plaques.
